The American Windsor (circa 1720) is your everyday dining chair. The single bow is steam bent to shape and supports the spindles, which are set into the solid sculptured seat.

Two carver chairs, either Double Bow-back or Continuous Arm, would complement a number of side chairs as a complete dining set.

The seat is usually the American shield.

The mark of the chairmaker Every item I craft has my initials ‘RBH’ and the year it was made, either carved on the underside or has an embedded plaque. Each item is issued with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
