The Double Bow Fan-back Rocking Chair (circa 1830) is a favourite of many.

With many features such as double bow, knuckle arms, fan back crest rail with handcrafted ear volutes and sculptured shieldshaped seat, it is certainly the most challenging and satisfying to craft.

The mark of the chairmaker Every item I craft has my initials ‘RBH’ and the year it was made, either carved on the underside or has an embedded plaque. Each item is issued with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
